Reflection:

I understand this standard to mean that as a teacher I am responsible to create learning experiences that value numeracy and literacy. To integrate these into the class and all learning experiences.


Strengths / Weaknesses:

I have a strong personal belief that students should get a strong foundation for language and how language can help them in later life. Also numeracy plays an important role in my life as a business owner. I feel I will be able to pass this passion and expectations onto students effectively.


Artifacts:

-       By talking about real world applications I feel I will be able to deliver on this standard in the class. For further education, I can meet with other faculties math and English to see how I can incorporate their units into my work more.

-       Collect samples of students work and asses.

-       Use effective lesson plans that incorporate literacy and numeracy.
